Dear Consular Section, I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to respectfully inquire about the documentation required for the long-term study visa application to the Czech Republic. As part of the visa requirements, I understand that a criminal record extract is needed from countries where an applicant has resided for 6 consecutive months or more within the past 3 years. I previously resided in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from February 28, 2023, until February 15, 2025, during which period I was employed as a Pharmacist in Abha City. However, I have since made a final exit (خروج نهائي) from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and am currently residing in Egypt. Due to my final exit and current non-residency in Saudi Arabia, I am facing significant difficulty in obtaining an official criminal record certificate from the Saudi authorities while abroad. Given these circumstances, and referring to your guidelines that mention an "affidavit in case the country does not issue such a document," I would like to confirm if a notarized and superlegalized affidavit (attesting to my clean criminal record during my stay in Saudi Arabia and explaining my inability to obtain the official certificate) would be accepted by the Embassy in lieu of the original Saudi police clearance certificate. Your clarification on this matter would be greatly appreciated and crucial for my visa application preparation. Thank you for your time and kind assistance.
