Hello, I am a US citizen traveling. I made a stop in Dahab and lived there from 11/2023 until 12/2025. Upon my exit and return to renew my residency i was denied entry into Egypt at SHARM El SHEIKH airport. I was returning from Rome and was sent back to Rome. My problem is that I have a bank account that I need to close and retrieve my funds from Nation Bank of Egypt. I wasn’t allowed to get any of my belongings from Dahab. I was never told why I was denied entry back into the country. I called the bank and they said I need to come into the a branch and close my account even after I told them my visa was denied. How do I retrieve my funds. Please HELP.
