The e-Visa grants up to thirty days' stay in Egypt, it is available in both, single-entry visas and multiple-entry visas. The process for the visa is completely online, all you have to do is fill out an Egypt Visa Application form, attach the required documents, and submit the fee for your application to be submitted for requesting an e-Visa. It takes about one to ten business days for an e-Visa to get issued.
The e-Visa is issued in the form of a pdf and it is sent to you by email. The e-Visa is mainly used for traveling or tourism, or any purpose that takes up fewer days than thirty, and does not require any medical attention, work, or studies by the applicant.
The regular type of visa is issued through an embassy or consulate that's located in your city. You will need to present your documents along with the passport and Visa fee to submit your form for the approval of the visa. The form and all of the documents have to be submitted manually to the embassy/consulate.
The visa takes up to fifteen to thirty days depending on the type of visa you have requested to get issued.
